Opportunity Details

Pentagon Preparedness Fair

Please note for this event extra security procedures will be in place and we will need to travel as one group from Volunteer Alexandria.
Since 2004, The United States of America has commemorated the events of September 11th 2001 by marking September as National Preparedness Month. A time to reflect with family and friends but also as a time to prepare. We do not know what the next disaster will be that effects the City of Alexandria but there will be disasters. The one sure way to make them less impactful is to prepare now.
Spend a day helping to prepare employees at the Pentagon with Emergency Preparedness information.
