ALIVE! Food Program Chair

ALIVE! Food Program Chair - This Volunteer Senior Leadership position is vital to diminishing the food insecurity in the city of Alexandria, where 1 in 5 families struggle to put food on the table. Responsibilities include: assisting with the development and monitoring of food distribution strategies, managing the collection, distribution, and accounting of food to thousands in the city of Alexandria, coordinating teams of volunteers who provide food delivery services in the community, providing data and statisitics for reports, and working with other food providers in the community.  Schedule may include weekdays, some weekends and evenings. Driver's licence required.  Food Program chair is supported by volunteers from church congregations who are members of the ALIVE! coalition, other nonprofits, and generous individuals.  For more detailed information about this position, contact: volunteers@alive-inc.org.
