Help children learn to read! Become a Book Buddy.
Provide in-person tutoring to an Alexandria City Public Schools kindergarten or first grade student in reading, M-F during the school day in the schools (8:00 - 2:25). Volunteers commit to one or two 30-minute sessions a week, October - May. Training, materials and support will be provided. Book Buddies tutoring works.
