Shelter Supervisor

The Domestic Violence Program (DVP) provides free services to battered women and their children and operates the Alexandria Battered Women's Shelter.  The shelter offers emergency housing, food and counseling in a comfortable house at a confidential location.
 
     Volunteers are a vital part of the Domestic Violence Program.  After comprehensive training, volunteers in the shelter provide support and referrals to clients and answer the domestic violence hotline.
