Francis C. Hammond LINK Club Needs 6-8th Grade Math, Science, and English Tutors

Mondays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays until June 2020, 3:30-4:30 PM.

We are looking for highly motivated and skilled tutors in the areas of Math, Science, and English Language Arts to work with individual or small groups of students after school.  

  • Communicate with teacher and/or parents in an effort to expand academic, behavior and content knowledge. 
  • Perform academic review activities that contribute to overall student success.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by site coordinator.

Grade: 6-8th Grade Math, Science, and English Language Arts

Certified teachers facilitate “Power Hour” for all students enrolled in LINK Club Monday through Friday. Power Hour provides students with homework help, academic coaching and/or remediation services. Teachers work in small groups of students who are divided by grade level. Academic support services focus on concepts covered during the school day in order to build student competencies, especially in reading and mathematics.
