Reading Tutoring at John Adams Elementary School
Do you have an extra hour per week to help a struggling reader? The Alexandria Tutoring Consortium needs your help! Tutors will work one-on-one with a K or first grade student. Most tutors work a 30- or 40-minute session twice per week. If you can only volunteer once per week ATC will pair you with a partner. A training session is provided to all tutors.
Tutors are needed at the following times:
8, 8:30, 9 or 9:30AM
1-1:45PM
Children & Youth Education
Families, Homeless, LGBT (Lesbian, Gay,Bisexual,Transgender), Low-income communities, People with Disabilities
Minimum Age:18+
