Community Toy Drive 2017

Volunteer Alexandria and the Alexandria City Department of Community and Human Services are implementing the 27th Annual Holiday Community Toy Drive, which will approximately involve 350 families and 800 children. This event engages volunteers 6 and older and is supported by the LIzLuke Team. The community toy drive started on November 13 through December 15 and if you are interested in collecting toys, please email mbrunken@volunteeralexandria.org. Volunteers will be needed to unload, sort, and inventory toys on Friday, December 15 and Saturday morning, December 16. On December 16, volunteers are needed to assist parents in selecting toys for their children. Spanish translators are needed to escort parents. GROUP VOLUNTEERING: If you will be volunteering with your family or as a group, please use the 'Or Sign Up With a Team' function at the bottom to sign up your entire family or group. The 'Team Leader' will just need to entire the names and ages (if under 18) of everyone in your group. This will let us know how many volunteers will be with us on the 15th and 16th.
